Cheers all!  There were 9 or 10 kids/teens involved in the construction.  It"s a rural village with not much to do so they make the most of snow days when they get them.

Apparently they used a ladder to reach the top bit.  The pringles tin is a step up though.  In the past, we"d put a tall beer tin in his hand.   ::)  

They"ve coal fires every day in the winter, but nobody wants to muck their hands/gloves using it for the snowman.   :D
