Hi Jim,
Wheelchair access at DTD is excellent, and the staff always seem super helpful. I know we have a number of APAT players in wheelchairs who can offer an opinion on this.
Hopefully see you in Notts,
Leigh
Hi Jim,
As a fellow wheelchair user I can vouch for everything Leigh said, the access and facilities are excellent.
They have disabled access restroom and ramps to access all levels of the room.
I have never had any troubles in getting to and from my table, being an APAT event there are plenty of willing friendly people who go out of their way to help you in any means possible.
If you require help to and from your table my better half will happily push you to and from your table, I will be at the venue from Thursday right up to conclusion on Monday, I will be the handsome looking fellow also in a wheelchair
.
Word of advice when booking hotel, I have found Holiday Inn the best hotel regarding disabled facilities, with a walk in wet room at most hotels, and excellent access .
Good luck and hope to see you in Nottingham..
Carl
