Can we take a punt?
« on: October 30, 2013, 11:59:20 AM »
Hey guys, probably a daft question here but is there any betting site(s) involved with APAT tournaments who will be offering odds for APAT tournaments?

Obv thinking about Glasgow here but in general, with all the regular players, it would be good to have a wee punt with bookie odds. :)
You can only play pocket jacks 3 ways, all of which are wrong.

It's only a gambling problem if you are losing :D

We"ve had it a couple of times - when Betfair were the sponsors they put up markets and Blue Square did the same once or twice when they sponsored as well.

I don"t know if you can get markets added to Betfair but if so, someone could send them the player list and people could bet amongst themselves? As for bookies, I would say no.

Betfair definitely did it a few years back.  It was a particularly good laugh for the team tournament.  Because the number of participants in the market is so small, the odds move very dramatically (shorten) when someone puts a bet on.  So, get on Kronstdat now, before the price drops!   ;)
