A quick reminder that 20 seats for the first APAT Academy training day will go on sale from the home page of the APAT website site (www.apat.com) from 9pm this evening.

Under the tutorship of professional player Paul Jackson, each APAT Academy training day will address the theory of multi table tournaments in early, middle and late stages, player position, assessing player holdings and bankroll management, while Late Night Poker legend Simon Trumper will lecture on player psychology and tells.  Live training days will also touch on sit "n" go strategy, cash game selection and limits.

A feature of APAT Academy live training days will be the addition of a guest professional who will offer an insight into the way they play the game.  Attendees of the first three APAT Academy live days will have the opportunity to sit with the William Hill sponsored, European Poker Tour and multi Grosvenor UK Poker Tour Champion, Julian Thew.

APAT Academy live days will be held at Dusk Till Dawn in Nottingham.  The first event will be held on May 31st, starting at 1.30pm and lasting for 6 hours, enabling attendees to enter the evening tournament at Dusk Till Dawn. 

The cost of a training day is £99 per player, which does not include entry to the evening tournament.

ONLINE SERIES

The Online Series Albanian Open will be held at Blue Square this evening from 8pm.  The entry fee is $10 + $1 and players will start the event with 5,000 chips.

I have been applying for the Live Day yday but have not received any confirmation whatsoever, if I have been one of the lucky ones being on the list.

Has anybody else received anything or will there be a list of participants posted here soon?

Well I definately need this day. It"s confirmed. Tonight, i played quite well in the English online open, then for no apparent reason, i donked all my well earnt stack to Mair. No offence Mair, but i really didn"t need to pass them all over in that single hand.     I flop 2 pair, just call the re-raise. Then go all in when straight is made by Mair, So goodbye medal but gl mair What the hell was i thinking. No wait, was i thinking??? No!!!!

So i carry on in my first omaha tourney, gukpt online league. This is paying out top 5 places only from $120 to $750 approx. I do well to make final table, get to final 6. I work my chips to chip leader, and then.......................................??

Yup, donk off all my chips in two hands and bubble??

Apart from being a bit (well quite a bit actually), tired. I don"t know why i bother.

Two minute tired Tilting is the worst of the worst, oh for a bad hand at the right time So bring on the Dtd, and I"ll look forward to meeting you guys there.
