Poker Magazines
« on: August 09, 2008, 15:01:51 PM »
everyone always asks what are the best books to buy but what are the best poker magazines to buy?

I know of PokerPlayer, Inside Poker and CardPlayer but are any of the others worth getting? Which ones should I avoid?

Also does anyone else find that they are a right bugger to get hold of? I can only get them from WHS, only started buying magazines last month!

Subscribe to them from the website or dennis publishing and they are a fraction of the cost.

They will pay for themselves from the freeroll offerings alone.

Started with Poker Player, then moved to Inside Poker as well, which I found pretty useful, from the same publishing company, I think.  I picked up WPT Poker last month, which also had some useful ideas.  I subscribe to the first two - wait for the right offer and you can do pretty well - and am waiting for a better deal to subscribe to the third.  Getting them from WHS is a pain and a waste of time and money.

Agree with you biffa85 about the renewal offer of 24 issues of Poker Player for £9.99 - that"s got to be a bargain in anybody"s books!
