Congratulations to Brian Yates who has won the Irish Amateur Poker Championship at the Fitzwilliam Card Club in Dublin. Brian becomes the first player to win both live and online APAT Championship titles; following his victory in the Welsh Online Championship earlier in the season.

The APAT Scottish Online Championship will take place at Blue Square on Saturday June 13th, at 8pm. The buy in for the event will be $50 + $5 and players will start with a deepstack of 10,000 chips. In addition to a significant cash prize, the winner will take a National Championship Title & Gold Medal and an entry worth £1,060 to a GUKPT main event, courtesy of tour sponsor Blue Square. Satellites into this event will take place on Monday and Tuesday evening at 8pm.
