Saturday 11th July 2009

CHESTER - 3:30

TOTESWINGER CITY WALL STAKES (LISTED RACE)(CLASS 1)(3yo+)

My first pick is based on fate over form.

The Chezger Poker Festival is this weekend, and the guys are all at Chester races this afternoon.  Therefore, you can"t look any further than Captain Gerrard in the 3:30.

Current Odds - 10/1

A 2nd place finish.  Okay for any e/w backers.  If the favourite hadn"t have been able to get through the gap on the rail, it was there for the taking.  Well run anyway, hope you made a bit of money.   ;)

Ended up a bit up for the afternoon after a Swinger bet came in on the Gold Cup at decent odds.
