1st break & we still have 12 players of 58 remaining.

skippyjust is flying high and few others reasonably placed. I should have been out but got lucky.

29 left and we have 5 of them - AitchBB2, CHRISMN71, MintTrav, Raggy Maggie and skippy just, but 4 of us are in the bottom 7, with just AitchBB2 in decent shape (7th). We need to hang on for some top-18 places. Walsall also struggling but in a different way. They have fewer remaining but are higher-placed (obviously). We need to practice some good surviving now to get as many scorers as poss.

How some guy goes from 7 chips to huge chipleader is beyond me. He will win.

I have started to remember why I don"t play these again now. Something freaky always happens. I had the best run of cards I have ever had, and yet lost almost all of them. The guy aformentioned then tries to slow-roll me with A-Q when I have Queens. Bada-Bing bada-boom Ace on the flop, and just to rub it in, my one outer will only get me a split at best.

My -EV for this set of tournaments is utterly ghoulish. Freaky even.

Somehow we got 2nd. Don"t know how - well I do but it seemed pretty unlikely. Walsall wrapped up the win early and then there were about six teams who could take 2nd/3rd, with hardly anything between them. A great performance by Harry Brownsdon (AitchBB2), backed up by Justin Hazeldene (skippy just), "pulled it out of the bag", to quote a certain leading Walsall player. The points were spread so thinly across so many teams tonight that the 2 players were able to do enough to get 2nd for us. Harry is now heads-up, playing for the money, individual points and the glory.

And he wins. WP Harry!

That makes 3 games won by Solent players out of the 7 played!

I was determined to do well for you captain. Sorry. Had a slight mishap just before 1st break.
I had done really well and was pleased with over 4000chips. Had 66 and was calling the big blind to see a flop, but I didn"t notice the chap mid field making a really big raise, and clicked on the call button. Oops! down to 900 and sliding thereafter. Another lesson learned. Don"t read the chat box. at least not with a mouse in the hand.:) I"ll try again next time.
