I know at least one person on here will be very happy about that.

i have been sat at a self dealt tourney befor were i have noted the dealer ,
looking at mucked hands when some one as made certain actions during the hand,
by keeping the two hole cards to oneside and placing at the bottom of the stack of cards ,and
facing the bottom of the deck to himself befor shuffleing the pack.

so always keep yours eyes peeled when playing tourneys is my advice.

He got what he deserved.....Crossed the wrong APATer.....Too funny that it was his wife who called the TD to complain.

Fantastic news. Great to know they took Pauls word to heart and checked him out.

Well done to Paul for catching him.

Just a shame that old style Vegas "take him out the back and give him a kicking" rules aren"t still in place.

What makes it worse is he was a regular. Wonder how long he"s been scamming his "mates"?

I know for a fact that Paul can do amazing things with cards (one of the reasons he spotted this guy) but would never ever worry about him dealing for me. How someone can do what this guy did i"ll never know. Utter scumbag and thoroughly deserved punishment.

I hate to break it to you, but Paul has been known to play Hi/Lo Omaha Limit Cash with a 51 card deck.  We were all fooled in Swansea.   ;D

"I have it on good authority that his missus also went into the office whilst the interview was underway and what happened while she was in there seemed to suggest that she was genuinely unaware of what he was doing. "

The image of him getting a slap from the missus made me  ;D

Have to agree with you there Stuart. But then when you get to my age visualising a slapper is a huge treat. I am sure it would have been fun to see  ;D

Playing poker with them isn"t one of those things though.  Unfortunately.... ;)

Yes, ever so glad to see this culprit get his overdue comeuppance. Is that a word even??
Admittedly, i probably went about it all wrong, however we no longer have to worry about him.
Oh and yes i did used to dabble with a little card manipulation.(Only for other peoples pleasure though, not for gain).
With regards to 51 card omaha hilo, yes i was trying to steal Tighty"s crown for fun fun gaming ;D

BTW, i did get a punch in the arm for my trouble from the said girlfriend. I think she owes me....lol

(It"s my blog BTW)

Now I know how the tabloids work!

Just to let you know that when I update my blog I normally get about 100 visitors to it. For the post mentioned in this thread though, which involves a bit of a talking point and a hint of scandal it has had over 2,000 visitors to it in less than 2 weeks!

Apart from here, threads were posted on Peroxide, Newcastle poker forum, Midlands poker forum, TCB poker forum, & EMS amongst others. Also when some of the players at Coventry heard about it they all started posting links to it on their Facebook and twitter accounts.

It was quite funny last night while I was there in the tournament. 5 or 6 players at my table were discussing the ban and one said words to the effect of "someones even done a blog about it as well you know..." I didn"t let on it was me though :)

Anyway I"ll post again if there are anymore developments.
