Not sure this could be an annual event realistically, this one worked as we were all already going to be there. Obviously a trip to Vegas for APAT people (rather than an event) is another story. I see no reason why that would not work. If we do (and not saying I definitively WOULD go) surely July/August is best? Plenty of time to prepare and when the weather is at it"s best.
