Was so close myself Steve...

Finished 7th.... I needed to finish in the top three and have skippylppl - Justin Hazeldene - finish 5 or 6 to pip Steve to the individual title... Ger was heads up with him just before he went out.. Could of done me a big favour... If Justin finishes 6 or higher I think he wins the title...

Enjoyed this season and I hope something is still in place next season...

Congratulations Justin very well played all through the season, went right to the last game with a few people well in contention.
Unlucky with the coin flip Steve against me, you was questioning my call, couldn"t really type my reasoning at the time as I was playing a Stars tournament aswell so was a little manic.

Basically it was just dynamics of the situation..

Mainly the team event was already won by West Midlands so although it is a team event I did have an "outside" chance to still win the individual table.
But it did mean you not scoring anything and a few other permutations for this to happen.
If I remember the hand it was a button shove from you into my sb? We where equal in stacks and I had 66, I figured you had AK/AQ/AJ and was flipping..so with no pressure of having to score team points I gave it a spin.
Luck was on my side you missed with your AQ, hope you understand my call now it wasnt a snap call I did think it over but I think it was correct for the situation.. no way I make this call if it was points bubble for team etc etc.

Good luck at the tables next season, hope we can have some fun in the Chezger tourneys coming up  ;D

Congratulations to Jason on a great achievement, and well done to the others; particularly Steve Mr Consistent Bayliff, for finishing so high up the individual table.

I can see reasoning why you did it but really think it was mis guided (i believe if you had time bank on 888 you would have passed), still 33 left and calling 15bb with 66 was very risky AK, AQ in my range but so are all pairs above prob 8s or 9s i was playing super nitty(had only showed kk in about 30 hands and folded all else) and the shove on button looked more like 10s,jj then anything else. At the end of the day your choice but i really did think it was a bad call in the situation.Still plenty of time for me to get busted and you to get a better spot especially sat to my left on table. Also when you still needed to win and after that looked like you just got blinded away , seen your stack later on when you should be pushing with any 2 and you was folding for the win ?? (this was with about 15 - 20 left i think. Wasnt watching table but seen your stack dwinderling. Sure we can discuss it over a beer or 2 lol

Having read both opinions, my thoughts would be "great call" Mr P.  Ultimately didn"t pay off but you identitied the best opportunity for you.

Killer for Scouse of course, and I sort of feel his pain.

Des thinks it"s a good call discussion over  ;D

But I do agree with your comment about when there was 20 left I didn"t pick my spot to re build my stack, I played bad from that point.. But as I said I did need you to bust and not score, saw my chance and took it.
Will buy you a beer next APAT event I enter and your there.
