Glenn Laming is in for his tournament life pre flop and being stared down by chipleader Steve Jay.

Jay calls and shows pocket Threes.

Laming turns over pocket Queens.

The flop  Jh 10h 6c

Turn  7h

River  3h boom!

Jay looks jubilant and Laming starts the backward motion in his chair, preparing to rise.

The dealer is about to push the chips to Jay until the players notice the 4 hearts.  Laming has a fifth.  Jay doesn"t.
Glenn Laming dou
bles up to around 15k.

The man is a leg end

Brian Martin opens and Sharon Roberts calls

Flop 8-7-4 rainbow flop

Martin leads, Roberts shoves, instant calls

Martin 8-8

Roberts 10-10

30,000 pot, Roberts at risk

turn 10

Martin doubles Roberts up

Jon Woodfield knocks out Robert Hardy McBride in two stages

First making a call with 9-7 to Robert"s shove with 6-6, and doubling up

Robert then shoved 4-5 suited over Jon"s open with A-K. A-K held and Woodfield has chips

Suzanne Hayward is out

Details are sketchy (ie she doesn"t want to say, its that bad) but she made a move with A-J on a King high board and was called by a King which held

Jenny Sherman, first APAT, new chip leader over 60,000

Unsurprisingly she says she likes APAT comps

Asa Mcgrath opens playing 18,000

Dave Garden shoves in him from the small blind, similar stack

McGrath calls, with  9h 9d

Garden was at it with  Kd 8d

flop is an eye opener

Kh 8h 4h

Qh gives McGrath the flush

Now to fade the full house outs, which he does on the  6s to double up

Busted early (circa 107th I think) but still had fun and was blessed with a really friendly table.

Many thanks once again to Des, Tighty & crew. Great to see an APAT on the South Coast and to be able to attend it.

Good luck to all those remaining, especially the table 4"ers.
