Had that in Luton after the APAT team event last year..... Playing cash £1/£2, the whole table was sitting with around £150 each, whilst me and one other guy had around £400 each in front.  I got into a pot with that guy, and we both managed to get £400 all in pre (I was shover, he was caller).... I had red jacks, he had black jacks..... the board.... all spades :(

How do you get £400 each in preflop with Jacks? Must have been some history between you?

lol - we"d been winding each other up for ages, and as the stacks suggest, we were the two that were bossing the table a bit. I had position on him when he raised quite big from the cutoff after several limpers, I 3b the button and told him I was doing it yet again, he 4b and told me he was doin it light cos I was also light - I made a massive overbet shove, then clammed up.   he tanked for around 10 minutes, and he made the call for something like £250.  I think it was a pretty bad call with JJ.

Cash table, pretty rare that anyone gets £400 in pre with a range that JJ looks good against.
