imo it would be better with 1500 to start, and 3k to rebuy - gets people going rebuy crazy.

Also should be an add on.

1500 seems pretty standard for a rebuy - add on straight away and you have a pretty playable stack

Disagree, and most online rebuys give more chips for the rebuy.... it guarantees that people will rebuy to get the cheaper chips, and that swells the prizepool, which is exactly what we want to produce more seats.

If the rebuy is double the starting stack, the chips are half price, and rebuying becomes almost mandatory for the extra equity.

which ones? which sites?

I thought the rebuy ammount was normally the same as the starting stack with addons at the end tending to be bigger

Not played the satellites but some confusing stuff in the thread. What"s point of having a rebuy sat if everyone starts deep?
Looking forward to making my first day 2

Ongame - 1500 starting stack, 2000 rebuy, 2500 add on.
Some iPoker network rebuy games - 1500 starting stack, 2000 rebuy and addon
Poker Encore live sats - 1500 starting stack, 3000 rebuy, 10000 add on

Those spring readily to mind.

Well if starting stack wasn"t 1500 also then I agree probably is a bit daft.
