When we announced Season 6, we gave Les Croupiers Cardiff as the host venue for the Welsh Event

Unfortunately we have been unable to reach agreement with Les Croups for this event.

We have though arranged for the event to be held at the newly refurbished G Casino in Cardiff Bay

Same date, same city, so I am hoping there is minimal inconvenience for those who I gather have already booked accomodation.

The £75+8 Main will be capped at 120 plus alternates

There will be a Sunday side event

I am told that since we were last there a brand new Travelodge built next door to the casino, for your information

More on the Cardiff event when it goes on sale after Coventry.

I"ll post up the (revised) Travel Tips for Cardiff after we"re done with Coventry...but for anyone wishing to make advanced plans.

Future Inns - Cardiff

Booked 3 nights in a double room for £143 (Refundable)

Quote

Imagine .... short breaks with Future Inns

3 for 2 hotel offers

"3 for 2 breaks" rates are as follows :-

Future Inn Cardiff  at £143

Why not check availability and book online at www.futureinns.co.uk or call quoting "3 for 2" on:

Cardiff Hotel on : +44 (0) 845 094 5487

All room rates are priced on a room only basis and include VAT at the appropriate rate. Subject to availability. Bed and Breakfast are available on request. Terms and conditions apply. Rates may not apply during event period and may vary without notice.

Cheaper to book for the three nights than 2 anywhere else even if you don"t stay the Sunday.

Cheers Paulie! Was struggling to find somewhere and that is an outstanding value. Beer on me in Coventry!

I"ve got a twin room ( both Canadian doubles whatever that is) so if someone wants to go halves for the weekend ( preferably someone I already know!) just give me a bell!

It"ll be hard for me to continue down the link road for the extra 2-3 miles. My car knows its own way to the bay as I work there so should be fine.

Feel like I should have a big old winge about the change..... ::)

APAT you know I love you really.  ;D

Haven"t played in the G since the refit so good reason to go. Reserve my seat...

Yes please answer this - I want to rid myself of WH ASAP, their customer service is second to everybody.

Strange that the OP was posted in the "William Hill Poker English Amateur Championship" area of the site.
