Time for an APAT poker skin. I wasn"t sure about it when it was first mentioned, but all this chopping and changing isn"t good for us. If a business model can be made to work then please consider it. I"m sure plenty of players would be happy to discuss and help make it work.

I was in a rage - let me have my moment and don"t take it as a personal attack. I"m more angry at WillHill then anyone else, but at the same time if half the field get disconnected and theres only 21 players and 6th is a cash - you could be the worst player ever and you would still have a pretty good chance of cashing if you have been allowed to play on! Perhaps I should have used the term "fluky whatnot" or "the less good player".

Theres a few donks in APAT though lets be honest, I wouldn"t want any of the genuinelly good players thinking I was saying it was about them, but I am not the enemy here, I"m just the most vocal participant! You cannot deny that despite everyone passing the parcel on whose fault it is, a player or two have basically been free-rolled into Cardiff have they not?

Nobody stayed connected. Everyone on my table was satout, as they were on the other table. I lasted two hands where I ran the clock down waiting, then my connection died too. So - nobody was allowed to play on while half the field was disconnected..... although it was ****e, from that perspective, the playing field was perfectly level.

And whether you meant offence or not by your comments, you might want to reconsider the derisory verbage you choose to use regarding your fellow APAT members.

Well clearly I didn"t realise that was the case did I? I wouldn"t know because I couldn"t see the tables at any point.

I"ll call anyone a donk in a rage - don"t pretend you are any different! We all do it! I don"t need lecturing, it obviously won"t be happening again.

I worry about the buy in for tomorrow to be honest, I"m not sure if I am around at the time and even if I get on later I"m worried about disconnects again. I wanna make sure I can go to pick up my medal. :(

I"d also be wary of an APAT skin on any UK site, from my experience (and I"m sure many others) they are all largely useless compared to the big sites. If everything crossed over to Pokerstars it would be better and make (for my six pence) APAT loads more legitimate then it already is - really cement it as THE amateur tour in Western Europe.

I"d like to congratulate Mike Slee on only on his win, but for spotting what when wrong on the first two satellites. His screenshot confirms that I should of won a prize of £6 (not £2.40 as previously posted). But I"m more concerned about my seat when finishing fourth in the second satellite. I"ve still had no response from William Hill and I wont be able to chase it for the next few days, as I"m away in Prague. I"ll update the forum on my return on Monday.
I sympathise with the other players who have had problems with the third satellite and echo most peoples views that William Hill Poker leaves a bit to be desired. Reading between the lines, I"m sure Des will ensure the problems we have endured are sorted and not replicated.

It actually annoys me, because someone who is blatantly rubbish is going to get a seat for sod all

I believe I may be one of the "blatantly rubbish" ones  :( However, as I can"t risk another satellite I have registered directly (therefore, unfortunately NOT getting my seat for "sod all").

Ermm...for those of you not paying attention, the lobby for direct buy-ins opened at 1am 03/05/12, as advertised in the WH lobby....another technical "glitch"?

Hope you all get a seat, and good luck in Cardiff.

Anyhow, i have now registered for the main event for the second time now.

Last time i was kicked out and my cash refunded to my account.

I would hope that, now the Sats have been completed, and the register is open and it is the 3rd, that this will remain so?

GL to all, hope to see you in Cardiff. :)

Well I"ve registered - so I hope I don"t get kicked out as I won"t be able to check for large periods of today.

the holding tank is showing zero entries, with a reg open time of 8pm tonight (just as it should be). I guess the old one got deleted.

Morning Guys,

So i witnessed last nites piss poor attempt at WH running a successfull client and even experience being refused late reg as advertised ! I really want to make this leg of the tour so could someone please tell me where exactly i have to register for the event as currently all i see is what i can presume a holding tank that opens at 8PM.

Is this where i need to be?

Cheers
