Thanks Rich - just planning for the unexpected scenario in which Saints beat Quins on Saturday and get to the Final which is the same day as the Welsh Champs.

Hi Evan,

There were still a few seats left so you should be ok if downloading this evening.

Cheers,

Des.

I had a "chat" with one of WH"s online chat people just now and explained that I wanted a refund for last night"s £5.50 rebuy + (lack of add-on) fiasco. Her reply was "sorry about that, but please understand that we do not issue a refund for any game."

Just to update anyone who may have an interest in this.

After 4 emails, I"ve finally had a "bonus" of £5.50 credited to my account. The last reply I received from WH supprt said the following:

"This is Christine from the Support Team.

We are writing to you with regard to the disconnection you reported while playing at the APAT Welsh Amateur Satellite .

Our Poker Specialists have conducted an investigation and confirmed that the disconnection was caused by an issue with our servers. Thus, our Payments Team has been instructed to issue your account a refund for 5.50 GBP. This will be processed shortly."

The strange thing is, I was never disconnected, I just couldn"t add-on.

Anyway, that"s one problem sorted. Now on a similar vein, last night I played the APAT Welsh Online Sat 1. There were 11 players buying in for a total of £55 (11x £5.50). The lobby showed the following prize info:
1st: seat
2nd: £11
3rd: £6.60
4th: £4.40

When I got KO"d in 3rd place, the payouts in the player list section showed me as earning £0 and I wasn"t paid the £6.60 for third place. So they"ve paid me the £5.50 I argued for and stiffed me for £6.60!

Sigh, time for another series of emails :(

Maybe you guys need to keep an eye out to see if you actually get credited for what you win. Personally, I"m playing the Cardiff live event and that"s it for me on WH.

They"ve been doing it with all our satellites it seems. I"m still waiting to be credited for 7th place from the satellite on 1st May. Seems they use the payout structure at the start of the game and pocket the late entry money.

Woah - that"s quite an allegation and one I will be looking into directly with William Hill.

Maybe I could have worded it differently Des, but that"s what"s happening. Would "not pay out the late entry money" be better?

I suspect it may be more likely that they paid it all out to the bubble spot, instead of paying multiple small cash prizes. I saw someone point that out on another thread - that he had bubbled the seats and been paid £17 instead of the £11 he was expecting.

I"m not worried about the wording Matt, I would like to know what"s happening with the money.

I can only echo what Sugar_Free and Mike Slee have already pointed out. I finished 7th on the sat on 30th April and should of been credited with £6 (not happened) on the 1st May, I finished 4th and should of been awarded a seat, however I was credited with £31.25. I have phoned William Hill on repeated occassions and their promises to get back to me have not been fulfilled.
I have since bought in to the event to avoid disappointment, but still have no response from William Hill. I like many others I suspect, cant wait to close my account with William Hill.
