Live Update - S6 - English Amateur Championship
« on: April 02, 2012, 13:41:59 PM »
UPDATE - APRIL 6, 2012:

As the new server has not been put live yet, we will hold the Coventry live update via the APAT Facebook Page.

Can players also tweet their chipcounts to the APAT Twitter account using the hashtag #apatpoker and we will reproduce in the live update.

Please let your friends know online, and good luck in the event.

Like the page for updates:-   www.facebook.com/apatpoker

---

Join our live update for chipcounts and pictures from the William Hill English Amateur Poker Championship from the G Casino in Coventry, held over the weekend of April 7th & 8th, with play starting at 2.30pm on Saturday and 1.00pm on Sunday.

Mark Briggs will be returning to defend his title and we look forward to updating on his progress; and the progress of 169 other players, throughout the weekend.

Shockingly, no Tighty at this event.  He misses an APAT event for the first time since launch in September 2006, due to work committments elsewhere.  Will do my best to keep Missus Redfern amused over the weekend....  ::)

I"ll start the ball rolling:-

- Dean Pearson - to put his awful APAT run behind him.
- John Murray - because that"s what he does.
- Suzanne Hayward - showing some good form online recently.

Since the rejiggle I think the Live Updates are a little well hidden away Des... didnt see this...

anyways...

- Thompson, Ian - As he is the only person to have "TIPS" in his name.. and I love him obviously
- Parker, Bob (2) - As he has 2 chances to get there

and random pick using a copy and paste of the names into
http://classtools.net/education-games-php/fruit_machine

pressing fruit machine now.... and.....

- Baker, Richard -  ;D - He"s massively due anyway!

See you all Saturday x

My choices for FT are:-

1. Phil Tompkinson as he may have the most interesting hair  :)

2. James Edwards as he"s due one and

3. Dai Llewellyn as it would be great to see a fish make it that far

Good luck to everyone

My Choices for FT are:

Barry McDonald. He"s one of the better MTT regs at G Cov, he won the Online team event for East Midlands last Sunday.

Dean Pearson (will almost certainly bust during level 1, but if he ever gets off to a good start watch out)

Mr Williams (as he is over 2% of the field)

I"d be thrilled if Donna Bairstow or Richard King made the FT but won"t pick them as it"s the kiss of death if I back anyone. Also shocked/honoured that Steve Redfern picked me, he obviously doesn"t know me that well :)

Would love to see a final table of old faces this weekend.
