It"s in Wiener Neustadt, 30 miles from Vienna.
If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space.

You can get currywurst at any wurststand, and it is rather lovely, especially with horseradish and after 10 beers.

And there are plenty of places to go for a lapdance here. Not speaking from experience but I think its pretty expensive though, not like Prague/Bratislava/Budapest....

I"ve also been to Wiener Neustadt...it looks like a bit of a ****ty city to be honest, very industrial...I drove there and when driving into it was like driving into your bog-standard American small town...

I wouldn"t expect too much party action there to be honest...i"m likely to be driving from Vienna if I can snap up a seat from the direct buy-in page...one thing which I must need to know is...can I pay by Solo Card when registering?

And can I buy-in directly at the casino? If so I might go down there and do it that way...

If anyone is thinking of making a poker trip of it there is also the Concorde Card Casino in Vienna which is really great (am quite suprised they didnt pick this venue to be honest) - you check it out here http://www.ccc.co.at.

Avoid Poker World like the plague though. It"s a nasty nasty place, mafia run, and a lot of dodgy Eastern European expats there. I played thier cash tables once and was about 400 Euros up and got up to leave the table and they all looked at me as if to say "you walk out of here and you won"t be walking again" so I just said I was going to the toilet, then sat back down and donked off my roll asap and then legged it...

But anyway, plenty of things to do in Vienna - a very good Irish Pub in the centre (http://www.shamrock-vienna.at) but i"m only saying that because i"m working there  ;) and if any of you guys would like a ride to the venue if you can"t get a place in Neustadt then i"ll be happy to oblige...

I don"t think they should be allowed to play in the live event.  Whoever it was who won it.

Just booked flights £134.80 fri out/monin.Heathrow, be quick.BA.com.

Blimey - those two flights are now £295.

Everyone searching for those two days has pushed the price through the roof.
