Everything has been said, but I"d just add.....
1) There will never be another DTD. It is wonderful, it is unique, it is one of a kind, & will remain so.
2) APAT has nothing to fear from DTD, or any other Venue. It"s our policies that are changing Tournament Poker for the better right across all Venues. Our low buy-in, "value for money" & playable structures are now being rolled out across the UK - including at DTD, & other orgnisations are now jumping on the bandwagon we started - which we are delighted to see. It"s what we want - that regular guys get the chance to play proper poker, at affordable prices in decent Venues, with consistent Rules. And we"ve barely started yet - more ground-breaking initiatives from APAT will follow. And they too will spread across the poker village.
We"ll be just fine, don"t worry. As with my specs which you kindly mended, I can see clearly now.....
