Totally incorrect Phil, you simply attend on Thursday night, drinking will then be fine, come third in the Home Nations on Friday. Then drive home, that is a better plan :-)

Have a great time in Portugal

^^^^ ;D loving that idea.. think the Thursday night might be a winner though, can"t not have a beer.. and I suppose representing England I should be all sober and trying my best for my team-mates and country on the Friday.

Been a few weeks since I last updated this, slacking! Still not feeling 100% after the California trip, I think going over to Portugal to get some "rest" wasn"t exactly what the doctor had said I needed haha, but as you"ll have read in other blogs we had a fantastic trip. Osheas bombs FTW... spot the random American...

Stu bless him had his usual roller-coaster, thought we"d lost him the first night but then found him wandering around the back of Oshea"s chatting to the nice fella selling flashing things.. with his pants down... asking not to be judged.. on the way to falling down amongst the rubbish  ;D and he wonders why he lost his passport and wallet that night...  ;D

Had a meeting with a client up in Glasgow yesterday and finalised a contract which will mean a shedload of travelling over the next 2 years, they have 50 sites globally and want 20 sites to have the software we"ve written implemented. Great news for the business but personally mixed feelings, means that APAT trips maybe thin on the ground over the next couple of years, means less time at home with my loved ones, friends, family and of course Anna and Lilly... OH and not forgetting Bonnie, who"s starting to look at me recently and go who the f**k are you (bacon I find makes this all better)  :)

Big decisions to be made.. first up though is Stoke and personally can"t wait. Thursday night is now a definite go coming down with the Rock late on whenever Matty finishes work. Will make up for lost time when we get there. Hoping the bar hasnt been drank dry by the time we get there... its a faint hope  ;D x

I have most likely missed the totally logical explanation at some point or another but why the hell is Stu walking around Portugal in his pants? I know its an APAT trip and these things happen but seems like there should be some funny reason.

I judge him to be pi$$ed btw. That is also a good thing.

Off to play ACTUAL poker this evening, not very often this happens but its a charity event at the local G, good cause and worth a wonder out to support it and also a chance for a few Guinness and a catch up with a member of the massive or two. No Cock or the Rock though as apparently the Hatton fight is the way forward.

With this in mind and as I"m on a roll on Betfair recently have put a £35 bet on Senchenko this evening.. with the idea to lay it off as the fight goes on.. thats if Hatton doesnt blow him away in the early rounds. Could go very wrong. We"ll see. Looking forward to the poker though, getting to play is such a rarity recently. The beer will flow and the fishing rod will be well and truly out. Happy days x

OK.. so the Hatton fight went pretty much to plan, I cashed out a little but left most of it ride luckily and ended up £115 in profit overall. The G was supposed to be showing it live but due to "head office problems" I had to rely on the good old BBC updates on the web and the odds on Betfair to see what was going on. Anyway very sad for Ricky but happy for the bink.

Poker was going really well.. absolutely amazed at how light people were calling off and with 15 left had over double average and was 2nd chip lead. Had chip lead to my left and was over the moon when I shipped with aces for a gazillion over a mid position raise and he called with queens. Anyway. No bad beats on here. Mr Brightside and all that. Lots raised for charity and the buffet was IMMENSE :)

So back to betfair.. I have one outstanding bet which is on the good old xfactor. Now for those of you that know me, betting on betfair on the Xfactor has always ended up with me pulling a face like Bonnie the other day as she had her glands expressed at the vets. One day I MAY get over Rage against the Machine. One day  :-\

Anyway.. I"m greened up so its all good..

Now what to do.. I bet on James ages ago, he"s the best of the bunch in my eyes PLUS he"s from the Boro. Do I cash out now for 78 notes.. or let it ride.. havent seen tonights show but apparently he did the business.. most of you are probably pulling Bonnies face right now and going "Xfactor??"  ;D happy days x
