First Stockton home game in a long time for me this evening, in fact don"t think I"ve played one since before APAT Glasgow.. so must be coming up 2 months?.. our usual haunt of Rileys in Stockton is now shut (one of around 27 gone nationwide apparently.. sad times) so we"re at the G by the looks which is all good apart from we can"t bring in our own homemade alcohol (Gary Palmer has his latest of batch of bramble brandy ready), there"s no jukebox (not a bad thing depending on whether Stu or Gary Motson has put money into it), there"s no 2 quid a pint, and being in the casino there"s the ever temptation of black jack / roulette / cash table after the inevitable bust out from the home game  :-\

Beer will be had in abundance though, theres a rumour that england shirts are required to be worn and medals to be used as chip guards (oops Stu).. a little celebration for the home internationals result, just missing JB and Paulie.. but we"ll have some for them as well. Happy days x

What colour is that then  ???

So if you know who it is, and "he" doesn"t have your medal ... then surely it"s not the MedalNapper ??? ??? ???

::)  ;D betting each street like I have it.. going all in on the river.. like I have it.. then showing 72 is good for the game though? sets the intentions for the evening early ;D then admittedly did run like god AND got the added bonus of knocking out Gary Palmer for the bounty of more bramble brandy. Happy days   :D

With all the cold weather recently.. the snow and ice and frosts... I got to thinking.. at what temperature can guinea pigs withstand the winter? This is their first year outside and the poor little buggers seem proper annoyed at it for some reason.. but surely in the land where guinea pigs orginate from errrm.. papa new guineapig land they have winters and are used to such seasons? Or is this going to go horribly wrong.. and Anna will be wondering why the cage has disappeared outside.. and I"m serving surprisingly small individual Christmas dinner turkeys this year?...
