ITV Gameshow Tipping Point anyone? Its a tea time show hosted by Ben Shephard which involves the answering of general knowledge questions and features one of those massive 2p machines you see down the seaside amusements...

Well as a laugh (as Lilly is a fan of the show and annoyed at the plonkers they have as contestants) I sent off an application form to appear on the show ("I can be that plonker").. got through that process and today a 2nd telephone audition, with a final face to face audition next week in Newcastle. For those of you who aren"t aware, I"ve been on a game show before called "Payday" on channel 5 hosted by Colin Murray which went very badly and a net result of zero pounds.

Eventually on that show after standing motionless next to my buzzer after round after round eventually caved in and pressed it halfway through a question. When asked for the answer I just said "No clue. I just wanted to press my buzzer Colin". Fingers crossed this process goes slightly better. Will update you all on how the final audition goes. Happy days x

I have it on DVD Jack.. private viewings only  :-*

Quick congrats to Brian (fossil) on his DTD cash over the weekend. Brian"s a true star and deserves everything he wins in life. I know the big cash is just around the corner.

This weekend I ventured out to the local G casino on Saturday night as it was in support of my mams local hospice charity where she helped out as a volunteer. First time Lilly had been to a casino so we played roulette together. After a charity donation, drinks and roulette losses I was down around 80 quid, was pretty happy.. Lilly after initially saying "excuse" and "pardon me" for the first few spins whilst placing bets ended up owning the table and 70 quid up. The look on her face when I came back from the bar and she was holding her first £25 chip after a win was priceless. Was good to get back to the casino after a long absence, home game this Thursday might well be in order. And beer and banter by the bucket load and hopefully a back to back bink. Happy days x

It"s a fairly short game in real terms Paulie, you"re not likely to play that many hands.
(Unless you run like the lad in our local Sunday night game last week. AA nine times in around 200 hands. KK a couple of times too.)
