Warren Jones is out

Flopped the nut flush draw on Q-J-8 and check raised all in against two opponents

Unfortunately Phillip Colls had J-J, and called

Gary Kelly had 8-8 and facing two all-ins in front found an excellent fold

the turn and river came running deeces to send Jones to McGuinness/Smyth country. ie the bar.

27k chips (early chip leader?):

Fandango: 23k

"Swinebag" Swindells 16k despite losing an early set vs. set confrontation (getting away with only a 3k downtick).

Richard Baker is out of the Poker Tournament

Two hands, same orbit

Andrew Mitchell raises to 150

Baker makes it 700 with Kings

Mitchell calls

flop  7d 4s 2s

Mitchell checks

Baker 800

Mitchell 2,100

Baker calls

:-X

turn  2h

Mitchell 1,800

Baker calls

:-X :-X

river  10s

:o

Mitchell 3,100

Baker calls

:-X :-X :-X

Mitchell  As 5s for half the Baker stack

------------------------

Mitchell 250 at 50-100

Baker 925 with K-K

Mitchell 3,100

Baker can shove, or can fold I suppose, but...

He shoves, as you would

Mitchell calls with A-A

Aces hold

And we"ve already lost yesterday"s Silver Medalist Peter Thorpe :(

Damage occured in a couple of key hands - getting bluffed with 8 high for an 8k pot (though tbf he only had A high himself), then calling with bottom 2 vs. a flush, and getting hero called with a small pair despite heavily repping a flush and/or straight.

Dawn Dineen has knocked Chinese Frankie out

Frankie was last seen dancing across the DTD car park screaming "Yes!!" with a clenched fist now he has escaped

Darren Shallis has knocked out Ben Cundall

Cundall flopped the second nut flush against a set...in it went.

Shallis filled up.

Little was Cundall to know that in this spot, needing to hit a full house, Shallis is a 90% favourite when the cards go on their backs
