Gordon MacArthur out 26th

Andy Barnes shortstack push

Gordon very shortstacked in the big blind, priced in and calls no look

K-8 falls to J-J, and Gordon is bar-bound

David Rudling Smith did another stack to go out 27th

The folly of youth. Again

He lost A-10 to 10-10 doubling up a shortstack

4 bet folded another hand applying pressure, and being caught at it

then, down to a below average stack shoved 10-5 after the bubble

He ran into Michael Holmes with A-K and A-K held

So these 27 players have cashed

12    1    Chris Peers
12    2    Liam Crawford
12    3    Alexander Bielke
12    4    Joanna Harris
12    5    Benet Houkes
12    6    Gary Phillips
12    7    Pat Kelley
12    8    Vikrum Mehta
12    9    Carl Sullivan

13    1    Michael Holmes
13    2    Andy Barnes
13    3    Dean Mardon
13    4    Kelly Mason
13    5    Gordon Mcarthur
13    6    Colin Morris
13    7    Julie Alexander
13    8    Nuno Andrade
13    9    David Rudling-smith

14    1    Alban Gerster
14    2    Andrew Duncan
14    3    Paul Haycock
14    4    Maria Demetriou
14    5    Carl Pilgrim
14    6    Brian Yates
14    7    Osaretin Ubebe
14    8    Ky Hutchinson
14    9    Mark Baker

Great to see Alex and Alban have a good run in this.  Germany didn"t really get started in the team event, but looks like they are up to speed now.  (Hope they"ve swapped %"s with their team mates  ;) )

Also nice to see Nuno cashing.  He finished 2nd in the team MTT on Saturday, but Portugal missed out on the medals by just a few points.  If he makes the final table, it will certainly be a lively rail.   ;D

Chris Pears

UTG with 32,000 3xbb

all in with  Qd 10d

the big blind Sullivan thinks, cogitates and tuts, sits back in his chair...

calls with Ac-7c for the extra 2xbb

10 on the flop, King on the flop....Q on the turn, and four to the diamond flush for good measure

Jack on the river knocks Chris out 25th

Carl Pilgrim shoves UTG for 34,000

Hutchison calls

Alban Gerster calls

Paul Haycock in the small blind protects Carl and shoves

Hutchison folds

Gerster finds a call for his stack, basically..a few thousand left if he is wrong

Pilgrim J-10

Haycock A-J

Gerster 9-8. Suited. That"s a 9-8 overcall, folks. Marvellous

3-10-3-5-K

Quadruples Pilgrim up
