Driving so not really able to partake fully, but I"m sure someone will volunteer to drink my share!

Currently sat in the pub at Manchester Piccadilly waiting for the train to arrive to complete the final leg of the journey. That it will be all systems go. This should be good.

Bit optimistic. Better chance in the train station, I reckon.

The next few days are so predictable. Lots of photos please of ger asleep in a chair, stu being arrested, jack running naked through the town and rodders being refused entry to the casino.

Enjoy.....

They came, they saw, they drank, they played, they dozed, they bet, and ultimately, JP conquered

More details will emerge over the day no doubt, but it was a pleasure to share a table with the invasion force even if JP managed to flop a flush as I flopped a set, even if Dawn"s 55 was too good for my AQ aip, and even with Ger managing to catch two pair and persuade me to call his river value bet (honours were about even between us last night)

Today"s events seem likely to start late although Jack did get some early sleep last night ;)

Plans are being hatched as we speak, Sounds like the Black Bull in Yarm is where the forces will meet.

So anyway let"s bring some hand analysis to this board.

You are playing in a cash game and a big Irish blokey raises you. You call and the flop comes down 8-9-T giving you a straight flush draw you bet and said Irish blokey goes all in. WWYD.

Well the answer is you call and see said Irish bloke has flopped the nuts you then hit your flush draw on the turn and win the hand and defeat the defenders and pillage Yarm a bit more. Only one defender dared to show his face against the fearsome forces today but he was soundly defeated. Ger the Hun is now in control of Yarm (although he is mumbling something about 74 and Wee Man is still going on about 88).

The invasion has been declared a success. Terms will be discussed tomorrow and are likely to involve Parmos
