Anybody else coming or just the reprobates on the front page already?

Room for 1 more?

I don"t really know anyone here, last played APAT event was Brighton, but recognise a few of the posters from blonde, i"m "vegaslover" there!!!

Yeah I know great handle eh

I"m flying out of Gatwick on the 6th Nov, staying in Vegas for a week. Defo playing the APAT event whilst there

Have added you to the front page sir - enjoy!

Always room for one more, we will co-ordinate seating soon so we can play OFC for 10 hours on the plane. Are you staying at Gatwick the night before as I am sure we will all be meeting for dinner and drinks (sensible drinks obviously - see the attendees).

Not sure what you want to do the night before the flight but theres a decent Weatherspoons in Horley which is 5 minutes in a cab from Gatwick. The Jack Fairman is its name.

Just to point out if you fancy it and havent booked.

Virgin & BA have sales on. On Virgin flying out on 8th Nov returning on 16th Nov is £600 direct. No sale seats for our dates - probably cos we fill half the fecking plane.

BA is more expensive.

Since I"m not staying at Harrahs immediately I was looking into costs for getting to/from Downtown &/or the Orleans.

A cab to MSS is easily $35 (without tip) and possibly more with the probability of being..ahem...tunnelled.
and was referred to Bell Trans.

Another $30 (inc. tip) from the Orleans would be expected

So in my searches, I was prompted by the good folks at the Vegas Message Board to try the VIP shuttle from Bell Trans.

Now these are the people who do those normal shuttles to the Strip running 20-30 at a time BUT their VIP Service seems like a decent deal.

$38 round-trip (plus a nice tip I suspect) and they will, they tell me, pick me up at T3, take me Downtown when I arrive and pick me up at the Orleans for the return trip. Call it $60 all in.

it"s a shared ride and not a huge saving but (they say) "unlike the traditional shuttle the VIP Shuttle utilizes Limousines and SUVs reducing the number of traveling passengers while upgrading the experience and providing a more direct route to your destination."

I believe our friendly neighbourhood Gerfish is sorting our transport to and from airports, anyone know if he has seen this?

He may be sorting out a limo for your lesser persons :D who are staying at Harrahs but it seemed logical to me to sort out my own transport since my requirements are somewhat different.

I think he was looking at this mob: http://www.presidentiallimolv.com/

Oh..and mine with Bell is $38 per person...Strip is $28 per head....all pre-tip (but round trip). That"s about right.

Standard cab is c.$20 to Harrahs but you could fit 3 in.

7 Weeks to go, or 49 days. That"s less than 50 days you know.

I am up for heading over here for food (mixed grill ftw) and then back to the hotel for a quiet(ish) night before the madness of Thursday. What are people opinions?
