Follow the live updates from Vienna on this thread from 1.30pm (2.30pm Central European Time) on Saturday March 22nd.

Linda Iwaniuk was up near 50,000 then ran trip Kings into trip Aces on the flop to lose 25,000 chips

Gareth Ower is handily placed with 25,000

On the same table Jack Prime and Kevin Shutt are hanging on 10,000 and 17,000 respectively

Nigel Phillips was knocked out by Gunter Wendlinger who now has 50,000

Max Buchmeir 40,000

Michael Straubli 30,000

Gerard Smyth 25,000

85 left

Matt Forrest I don"t know..you"ll need to help me with a description please
Mathew "Matt" Forrest picture nr 45 / 179 in apat player photo

Just heard from Matt Forrest.  He went out holding A2 on an A A 2 flop.  All-in held 6 6 and hit runner runner sixes for quads.  Sick game if you ask me!

He"s just described his hotel as being like Guantanomo Bay, so sounds like a bad trip all round!

You"re doing a fine job Rich, remind me to buy you a drink in Edinburgh, unless of course Des gets the round in first.  :D

Unlucky Ger, hope they sell Guinness at the bar.

How"s the player I bok"d, I mean tipped, doing - Leigh Wiltshire ?

Thanks Rich.

Simon Aukland has a lucky break

He is in the BB with 78

sb Raises, aggressive player

Simon calls

Flop 7 x x two spades

SB bets 6,000

Simon makes it 15,000

SB pushes

Simon can"t back out now

SB turns over A7 of spades

uh oh

turn 8 of clubs for a good old two outer to push Simon up to 55,000

I am staying in the Orange Wings

It is like Stalag Gulag Guantanomo Strangeways

Horrific hotel lol

anyway, on with the show

Gareth Ower 32,000

Don Roberts 40,000

Maxine McKinlay just out 77 vs AJ, Aces on flop and river

Jim Lynott 25,000

Shutt and Prime both very short

Leaders are Vienna players Markus Wendt 80000 and Milan Zari 100000

1000-2000 now, 60 left, average 31,000
