Seriously, people it was a tongue in cheek comment.

Do you REALLY think that Matt or Des would operate a site on a network that was in anyway "shady"?

2 many things wrong with boss for me steve but i do think the 1st thing they need to sort out is using a random card generator

Oh god, not another "this site is rigged" post. Of course they use a random number generator, otherwise they"d be out of business very quickly!

You"ll also find Sky poker is rigged, as is Pokerstars as is every other one where anyone gets a bad beat. Just look in the chat box, there"ll always be someone telling you how it"s rigged, just after they"ve suffered a bad beat. Strangely they never mention it being rigged when they get lucky but that"s obviously a flaw in the software...   ::) ::) ::) ::) ::)

I dont thinked "rigged" is the best word to describe it. TBH I have found that there are far more bad beats on the BOSS network than there are on Pokerstars, Im not talking about bad beats against me, Im talking about the BB I see just at the tables Im playing. Ofcourse there will be BBs where ever you play - Online or Live, but this network does have much, much more than I ever see on Pokerstars. I can be watchting an all-in hand and far too often I can predict the turn and river. Having said that all you have to do is adjust, I have played countless APAT tourneys online with all the various sponsors and have been reletivley successful sticking to my game, but I have to be honest when I play on this network I dont play Poker as such, I tend to "play the site".

Based on how many hands??? Need some hard numbers to back this up. If I could have 10p for everytime I predicted a river card, I would have retired by now. Luckily I don"t have to pay 10p everytime I"m wrong

These posts are of "holocaust denial" standards

Let"s be honest you know as well as I do it is rigged. I do wish you would stop posting denials though. You will draw peoples attention to it and somebody will come along and unrig it. Then where will we be????

I see no reason why I should have to play without the software/dealers rigged in my favour. I would almost certainly lose I am sure, which would be totally unfair. Please keep quiet about it in the future.

Much appreciated, have fun outdrawing people on Stars

Guys,
Im not saying its rigged, Im saying that it does not have the same feel of randomness as a site like Stars. I know nothing at all about RNGs but I could bet  that BOSS doesnt use the same software as PS.
If not -why?
I know its not rigged to get my money and give it to someone else, but there is something about the amount of premium hands I see. ( 2 Royal flushes at the same table, etc, etc) I fully understand that anything is possible but if you toss a coin 100 times and 90 times its heads, there is something wrong with that coin.

"play the site" is simply if I have a lot more chips than my opponent I can call comfortably knowing I will more than likely hit. ( this happens way too much)

FWIW Having a casino background, believe me - when it comes to money, there IS corruption. Is Poker immune to greed? How many high profile Poker Pros have been accused of cheating?

If you tossed it another 100 times and it came out tails on 90 of them...is there still something wrong with it?

Someone truly doesn"t understand the Law of large numbers

Someone truly doesn"t understand the Law of large numbers...???

What Law would this be then?
Toss any coin you like 100 times, once its hit any side 90% post the result. If you understand the Law of averages - you really shouldnt bother.

100 times is not enough to say that though.

Yes I agree there is a good chance there is something wrong with the coin at this point, it is by no means certain as your sample size is to small. Try it a few times, it is not unusual for a coin to hit one or the other 70 times out of 100 so 90/100 is not THAT much of a stretch.

If you understand averages, this is the perfect time to start calling heads cos it is so overdue. Get in heavy on heads over the next 100 tosses and you are almost guaranteed to clean up.

That"s just like declaring a poker site to be rigged because we have a bad run and lose lots of races!  If you flip a coin 100 times, and it lands heads 100 times, it doesn"t mean the coin is rigged or faulty. The law of probability says that a coin will land tails as many times as it lands heads, over time... however the law of probability is not a guarantee that it will land either way.

Anyway back to the original purpose of the thread, I think the extended H4H on BOSS is a joke.  :D

Unless the coin is indeed faulty, rigged, dodgy etc

I dont think any poker site that I have played on is rigged, but there seems to be sites that have far too many premiun hands far too often - is this down to RNGs? I dont know.
