Not played online for a while (so apologies if this has been discussed a million times before!) - was wondering the thinking behind including the live event in the POTS points? It"s going to disadvantage those who weren"t in Stoke obviously, including those who had no realistic chance of making it there (anyone overseas basically).

Not stopping me playing, and I understand that many won"t be playing solely because of the added value and that it"s nice to have everything joined up - but it"s not encouraging anyone to play either, and that seems counter-productive?

It"s very much a kickstart bonus for the 167 players that played Stoke.  Earning points in 1 event will not win you the Player Of The Series.

And when we ran it like this for the Scottish series, the live result did not impact on the result, so you could argue why include it.  I would argue, why not include it.

Proving really hard to stay connected at the moment - hope to actually play at least one hand at some point

hmmm well managed to stay connected all the way through 2 hands.

Could have done with being disconnected when I decided to commit with A3KK, then shove after flopping the 2nd nut low draw with the overpair - would have saved me from the nut low draw and the gutshot draw which done for me
