Back to the pool and some scantily clad ladies!

Keep the focus Max, so many distractions in Vegas!!!

Joking aside, all the best Max.  Have a great tournament and enjoy it.  Play your own game and with a bit of luck you will go deep.

Just been eliminated - AAAAAARRRRGGGGHHHH

I could go on all day about the horrendous calls ive seen and the lack of any kinda of connecting with the flop but what ultimatley did it was this:

Me:£17k
Villain: £37k
Blinds & Ante:£1.1k

Folded to villain who in pos 6 raises to £2.5k (pot now £3.6k)

With   ac qh   I min reraised to £5k (pot now £8.6k)

Villain, after much consideration calls (out of position)

Flop:     9d th ad

Villain Checks

I move all in for my last £12k
(I could be beaten here but villain is loose aggraesive and has raised first in a number of occasions, so given my raise was only min his range is pretty wide, of which I can beat quite a lot)

Villain calls with    jh qd (open ended straight and backdoor flush - both undercards)

The turn was   4c

The River brought  kc  to fill his straight

Much annoyance but I guess thats the game well love to hate

Only sorry, with such support, I couldnt have lasted longer and made more of an impact.

Plenty of time to digest the detail and the many other hands, Ill come back with more once Ive calmed down.

Unlucky Max.

You got your money in when you were ahead, so don"t beat yourself up over it.

Enjoy the rest of your time over there.

Unlucky Max, limping into Day 2 was never going to be the best option so you had to pick a spot, and were unlucky on this occasion.

Did you get any decent photos that I could use in the newsletter?

Unlucky Max..... As has been said before, you got your money in when ahead......

And after looking at the updates, there has been sooooooo many bad plays and calls, its almost like they are going for sh*t or busto.....

At least you have been there done it... One thing checked off the big list...

Unlucky Max.  You had him sussed, and I like the min-raise as you want more than just  the blinds in that spot, and you played him perfectly.  The poker gods just weren"t looking on you favourably.

Hope you enjoyed it, and back to the pool and those ladies... ;D

Sorry to read that things didn"t go to plan Max....them poker gods have a lot to answer for! Still you"ve been there & no doubt got a "T"shirt or two which is more than the majority of us humble poker slaves can say!

Better luck in 2008  :)
