Some stacks from the Cash Championship (biggest stacks, and some other notables).

Chinese Frankie: £300
Dann Williams: £140
Liam Batey: £500 (chip leader)
Dave Potter: £170
David Rudling-Smith: £320
Steve Redfern: £270
David Blacklaw: £170
Yiannis Liperis: £220
Steve Roderick: £107
Giuseppe Maggisano: £170
Ian Gascoigne: £175
Chris Webber: £230

There"s just over 60 minutes left for players to amass a final-table qualifying stack (top 8 players after 3 hours play qualify for the final table), so expect some suitably high octane play as the clock ticks down!....

The final table will be streamed live from DTD at the following link from 9.15pm-ish: http://www.dusktilldawncasinonottingham.com/live.php

Great festival so far, but the HORSE schedule was terrible. Level 3 in HORSE was equivalent to level 6 of Thursday"s stud event and the starting stacks were the same. Second one out and I feel I"ve wasted £55. I"m extremely tight, barely played a hand and because nothing I had held up I got effectively blinded away. Won one pot in the first level of hold em. So frustrated.

Roll on the PLO!

I spoke to a number of players at the first break as per our conversation Martin, and while they felt it was a bit fast in the opening two levels, generally they are saying its fine now.  It should run ten hours, so we"ll keep an eye on it throughout.

Anyway, that aside, sorry to hear you didn"t enjoy the event - we never like to hear that - and hope you have a much better run in the PLO.

Thanks Des

I still think it is far too fast and should have matched the Stud structure - I believe it would have made very little difference to the length of the event. Anyway, you listened, and as I suggested you spoke to some other players so I can"t ask for more than that.

See you tomorrow
Martin

Liam Alcock out in 116th place - stack crippled by his call of an all in with AQ - in fine shape against T9 - but a ten on the river left Liam with only just over 5k - he shoves from the HiJack with 89 - and runs into KK. A  King on the flop and Liam is a goner.

yep - sorry i realised it was Charlotte and not Natalia as i traversed the floor again.

Even more so as i saw Charlotte lose a massive chuck of her chips to Ryunosuke Mason Brown - Charlotte holding  Jh Kh on a  7c 7h 2h flop - with Ryunosuke holding  8s 7s.

So to do her justice - here (again!) is Charlotte Godwin

In a mad scramble to get into the top 8 in the Cash Challenge (it"s looking like a £250+ stack will scrape in), there"s a 3-way all-in on table Roderick.

I arrive to see Ian Gascoigne (£200+) and Steve Roderick (£60ish) already all in pre-flop, with Anonymous (£200ish) pondering an all-in call for her stack. She makes the call.

Cards on their backs

Anonymous: Jc Jh

Steve Roderick: A s Qh

Ian Gascoigne: 3d 5d

The flop is dealt: 9d 4h 4d

Turn: 6d

River: Qd

Ian scoops the £450+ pot and looks to have secured himself a place at the final table.

After a timely double-up, now up to 39.5k which is just shy of the average.
