WCOAP Day 5 - MAIN DAY 2, HEADS UP
« on: April 01, 2013, 12:57:29 PM »
Welcome back to Dusk Till Dawn, where today we will conclude the five day World Championship of Amateur Poker Festival....and what a fantastic day we have in prospect.

We will see day 2 and a World Amateur Poker Champion crowned in the main event, plus the 64 runner knockout Heads Up Championship.

Stick with us through the day until we stream live from the tv stage later this evening with the final table of the main event.

It might just be amazing...

First hand back and action on table 14

Folds round to a short stacked Jo Harris who opens to 12k

Troy Harris calls in the sb

Flop comes  Js 3h 2c

Checked from Troy and Jo c-bets 20k, after a short deliberation Troy shoves Jo in for her last 45k and a quick call

Troy 10s 10h

Jo  Ac A s

and brick turn and river gives Jo a far more healthy 140K

Troy down to around 50k

All 64 players have made the cash, with a guaranteed minimum of £200 for 64th. So, with the bubble already burst, we"re expecting a rush of exits in the first few levels.

News reaches of JPRound"s 63rd place exit, unluckily running Aces into a set.

Unlucky JP, not much you can do about that great attempt and well done on getting into the cash.

Come on Warren and Gary

A lot of action once again on table 14

A three way allin pre sees a pot of around 200k with a small side pot

Dan Williams  Ac Kc
Troy Rutherford  Jd Jc
Unknown opponent  Ad Kd

10d 5c 7d 2c 9c

Board sees Troy score a huge triple up

Dann William left with around 6bb and busts shortly after

Thanks to Chris for the guest updates :)

Shortly after Dann Williams busts, I bump into fellow South-West Player James Newman, who has also bust out, running his short-stack of Ace 3 into sixes.
