For people like me who struggle to travel....

Online Comp dates....?????

To follow Bill, we thought we"d focus on live tonight.

But just to be clear there won"t be onlines this weekend i.e. a week before the live event like we have generally done in the past? Ta.

Hope the online Championships are not points and only the main event winner is the champ

I haaven"t read the whole thread so forgive me if this question has already been asked but does the Wembly Poker Masters count for S7 POY given that it was played before the schedule was announced?

Haven"t had cahnce to speak to Mark yet......but I posted on BCPC that there was a team event in Southport that is "Open to all APAT members"

I then got asked, pretty quickly, how this could happen when the LPPL players all have to qualify for this weekend in Southport?

Am I correct in thinking that all APAT members are guaranteed entry to the Southport events,....cuz that is what the S7 announcement suggests?

Also, my suggestion was to have a C OF C every season and make it open to all APAT Champions because of the prestige of winning it. This would be an invitation-only event and you can be sure that it would be one everyone involved would want to win. Added value makes no difference.

Neither does taking the p155

To be fair Des, it doesn"t suggest you have to qualify either.

Yeah, agree with you Brian - which is why I think we need to hold for a couple of days to understand what the intention was here.  I believe it will require APAT members to qualify, but definitely clarification is required.

Des, in regards to cash tour,

Will it be changed so that if you have not had your reload, that it can be taken prior to final count??

I think someone that has bought in for £200 and ends on £350 shouldnt be ahead of someone that has bought in for £100 and has £349 infront of them.  This was the case at the Worlds?  I promise this isnt me being bitter (much) just think it needs to be fairer to all playing?

You bet, but it would have to be taken prior to the final count.  That was a good learning point coming out of Nottingham.

Rules at Worlds were you can only take the 2nd bullet once bust tho?  So will players be able to "add" £100 whenever they want this time round?

Maybe recently but in the olden days they were defo a week before.

Anyway no answer from the big man so I"ll assume nothing this weekend. As always as much notice as poss would be good. Otherwise her indoors says "It"s not on the calendar!" and I have to reluctantly hand back the trousers and brace myself for an evening of flower arranging.

Yes, we"ll break the second bullet into two chunks and they (optional) will have to be taken before the first phase ends.  Taking them will not be subject to losing your starting stack.
