Just to clarify guys, if APAT win the team event, I am proposing that the additional £1k owner"s prize goes towards an APAT freeroll.

Just to clarify if Chezger win it is going behind the bar  ::)

"Players can leave the venue after registration providing they are back in their allocated seats by 2.15pm (for a 2.30pm start).  In keeping with the new regulations, players not in their seat at the start of the event will be able to play."

Is this a typing error or should it say will not be able to play

No, the new legislation that came into force about 10 months ago means you don"t have to be seated at the start of play.

Before then, the legislation in the UK meant you had to be there for the start, otherwise you couldn"t play.

The reason APAT wants you there for the start is so you can hear al the last minute instructions, it avoids any problems with mistakes in the player listings, etc., and also means you"re ready to play.

Ive been reading through all the threads and get the feeling some teams a running scared already, surely you have picked your stongest team for this event. collusion soft play lol.
I am confident that each member of our team will let nobody stand in there way including team members. so bring it on lol.
I am really looking forward to the weekend, it sounds as though there is some tough competition, but remember guys, there is a thin line between stupidity and genuis.

I agree with TOPAIR....forget about all this "soft play and collusion".

Lets just make this a weekend to remember for all the right reasons and be thankful that we have a crew like APAT running these tournaments for us.

See you all on saturday afternoon and dont have to much luck because i need it. ;D

If anyone does a softplay move for a team member, be prepared for the same team member to **** you over later in the tournament, trust me ........ it happens. Play for yourself.

I dont mean to stir, but the table draws pre made are great, but is it fair that some teams are sitting in the same seat on each table..

i,e  Blonde/Chezger all in seat 1

Newcastle/Poker Player all in seat 10

I dont know if this can be done, but it seems that maybe T1 & T2 should have a random draw, T3 & T4 etc so that the same 20 stay on them 2 tables but actually in random seats, as the way it has been split, the same forums are playing each other throughout the tournament until the tables get reduced..

Maybe im jumping the gun, but there are a few players here at Chezger"s pre APAT tourney having a loud discussion..

Please don"t jump the gun Dafydd, a lot of work has gone into putting this together and every team is in the same boat.  A draw was made for team seating position and then a second draw was made to put players on individual tables.  This is all completely fair and team orientated.  Unfortunately there are no options to make a team event draw through the G"s Cardroom Magic system.
