Another BCPC battle on table 2...
It ends with Brian Yates winning the pot against Tod Wood with a pair of sixes. Q6 not quite the infamous J6... but still good enough

Like a bad episode of Game of Thrones, we"ve just lost our second King, with Donna exiting just now on table 2.

Husband Richard busted earlier in the day.

Two players down from the LPPL representatives...

First was Kev Morris had all his chips in on the turn with AQ after hitting his an A on the flop. He was taken out when the caller spiked a K on the river to match with the other two in their hand.

We also lose Kath Stevenson, who hits the flop but is called by a flush draw... which hits.

Alexander Glowinski is down After commiting a significant portion of his stack pre-flop he shoves on the flop but is re-potted by Chris Webber with his AQ who after already hit the A, then goes on to have a runner - runner full house.

Updates for team batman members, Tony Johnson, Dann Williams and Chris Webber please

Only Chris Webber remains and he is in a very strong position with around 90k

Players are falling thick and fast now, not able to get exit names or details for as many as we would like!

Unpleasant exit for Paul Taylor on Table 7. His KK got busted after his opponent"s 77 flopped a set.
After the drama early on with Table 1, Table 7 is rapidly becoming the table of death with several eliminations and as a result, several chunky stacks.

Just having a few technical issues at updates HQ...

However we have lost Carl Pilgrim with 10 10 vs 55, the 5 on the turn sending all of his chips the worst kind of stack. One that is not his...

Another LPPL member down as Mark "Rigga" Ridgway falls by the wayside as his 44 is not good enough. Down to 71 players

Just entering Level 9 as we move down to 70 players here at Coventry - half the field now gone and some nice little towers being built by players as stack sizes increase.

Great performance by West Yorkshires Simon Beckett - but alas he departs as his 77 run into 99.

we will provide some chip counts at the break - but going along very nicely is Steve Broderick - sat on about 65k.

Rodders - ive never seen a player take so much interest in every hand - whether he is involved or not. And pays dividends it is seeming to do.

BCPC"s Tod Wood takes down around a 20k pot - making a call with second pair on a K high board to scoop.
