Leg 1 of the PLO Championship is just getting underway - we"ll bring you news and updates from there as we can, although its being held in a different section of the casino.

After losing a big pot to Dale Macchiarelli, Andy Chilton is taken out by the pockets Tens of Adam Smith - Andy having A9.

Chris Webber gone - after clambering back into the tournament, he eventually falls to Ian Witt - Chris"s flush couldnt get there and Ian takes him down.

Quick wander down to the four PLO tables. End of level one and there are no fallers from the 28 entrants. TD refers to the game as having "No oohs and aahs just yet". Eyeballing stacks it seems Dan Williams is the one to watch for now.

280k pot fought out between Sharon Roberts and chip leader Ian Witt - Sharon raises to 11k pre flop, Ian re raises to 26k, Sharon announces all in, Ian calls - Sharon has the Aces, Ian has Queens - the board is dry and Sharon takes the chips and with it, the chip lead.



A very happy Sharon Roberts - before she takes the lead!
