Team England ECOAP Prague December

Hi All,

I have had some feedback from a couple of guys regarding announcing the squad for team England for ECOAP.

The general concencios was that people wanted to know sooner than later who was/ wasn"t selected so that travel and accommodation could be arranged well in advanced.

So as things stand I think it would be fair to give those selected the optimum time possible to arrange flights accommodation  etc to get the best deals.

Although no announcement has been given by APAT on Hotel/card room where the event is to take place I think it is safe to say its 100% running so flights can be snapped up ASAP.

So I will be announcing final squad for ECOAP a couple of days after the home internationals..

To be fair...December is still a long way off but I would have hoped that the venue & date would have been confirmed by now.

...but perhaps (as seems likely) there are good reasons for the delay.

Have booked my hotel - next door to this festival.

Thankfully it has free cancellation until the day before so if I decide not to go (50% atm) I"m sorted.

I am considering that one, I just prefer a proper bath with a shower rather than just a shower stall.

It"s a size thing.

But cheap is cheap and no taxis to and from the venue.

Ger - for us up north you want Easyjet flying from MAN there and Jet2.com flying back, Wednesday-Monday.

From the planning/rumour thread

Taken a punt on this and if the event does not take place, I can think of worse places to be 3 weeks before xmas.

I am on the 715 from Stansted with easyjet arriving 10.05 Friday 6th December return 10.40 on the Monday, cost £103

Staying at Red & Blue Design hotel, thanks to a special offer with avios, £169 for triple room for 3 nights with brekkie so circa £160 per head for the total journey for myself Paul Gildea, & Lee Wyatt.

Checked out the public transport and a 72 hour pass is about £11 or a cab from airport to centre £18.

See you in one of the many bars for a .5 litre or two.

Ps I am aware this is off thread, as by the time I arrive the team tournament will have started, just thought the information would be handy for those planning to attend who were not part of the team event.
