Is the way I play this correct
« on: September 07, 2013, 17:25:25 PM »
Really not sure what I should do preflop in this hand, in front of me there is a raise, 3-bet and cold call of the 3-bet, should I be just calling pre or do I get enough of my stack in to raise here with my hand. The problem is I am going to have to OOP post flop, am I better off just calling and getting it allin pre if the Original Raiser decides to pop it up some more? I know from previous hands that players on this table can 3-bet call so don"t expect to get any folds.

Not expert on Omaha but exactly this I think. Will have awkward stack if you pot now and get just callers IMO. Not great accompanying cards but I think should have good equity if you need to get it in pre . Will be unlucky if somebody also has aces and dominates you. Certainly cant fold pre.

Just keep pressing pot untill all the money is in the middle at these stakes IMO.

N ot likely to be dominated, would prefer DS but we got a few straight outs too, just get it in and watch in wonder as the big stack plays like a donkey and wins.

If you pot 4b, position won"t matter as you"ll have less than pot behind.

Spot sucks, I hate AAxx, and it always feels that you"re turning your hand face up and that people will then play perfectly against you. In reality though, calling ranges will be far too tight post flop (i.e. flop J72, you show your hand and even 2345 is close to break even to get it in for a pot-sized shove).

You still have a chance of picking the pot up or picking up just 1 caller - if so you"ll have a SPR of 1 at most (i.e. you"ll have a pot sized bet behind). You"ll need to flop 33% equity to get it in profitably - I"m sure you don"t need a calculator to realise against even a strong range your average flop equity will be >33%, and I"m ignoring FE. If you receive multiple callers, your required flop equity goes down further, and you"ll still have FE even if you only have half pot shove left.

POTPOTPOTPOT. Literally that. Then reload.
