GL to Grant, Suzanne, Naz and Vaino. It was unfortunate Vaino lost a lot of chips in the hand before the break, hope he can claw back.

^^^^ This. go go go  ;D

Agree that having standard text updates as well would probably be the best though. So, possibly a 2-person update team with 1 person doing the text, the other the live? With guest commentators where possible...

Hole and flop cards would be pretty amazing (not sure if technically feasible though?). I also like the idea of some kind of box under the feed showing, by position, the names and latest chip counts of the players sat at the feature table.

Hold APAT at Genting Casino"s or speak to Paul Zimbler/Andrew Booth (Andrew runs a company hosting these tables).

I like live stream but not as the only option. After a day out it is nice to read back on action throughout the day ... as a player it"s also nice to read back after play has finished for the night.  More importantly, with my ****e laptop I can"t play online AND have live stream open   ;)

Thanks Mich, aye, I know about those tables (have worked live updates on a couple of APAT's where they"ve had these, and thought they were very good). I meant I wasn"t sure if it was technically feasible with this current set-up... #

Agree with you that both feed + text would be the best solution.

Ah, sorry, My bad .... I thought you meant not feasible full stop ;-)

Might be worth contacting Andrew for future games, just to see what costs are involved for a one table hire (if non Genting Casino"s allow them that is?).

One problem with the RFID ones I"ve seen is that they cost £130+ per deck of cards(!). The tourney I worked on they ended up going through 8+ sets of cards as they kept getting marked. Ouch.

Just got back. Was too busy counting all our goals at the Etihad so finally settle down with a glass of wine and a chance to catch up with the day"s play......

Well, probably been said before ITT but: live stream is great but as the sole media coverage it is not adequate for the members (both players, who like to catch up on the day, and interested parties who like to dip in every now and again)

As it happens I can"t get the feed on my phone, so I"ll just leave with a "good luck to anyone left in, if you are indeed still in"

The particularly disappointing thing about this is that live stream has been used before at APAT events and feedback then (season 4 I think it was) was in favour of written updates to support the live stream. Furthermore, IIRC if people had to choose 1, they would have preferred the text update. I thought this would have been considered before a decision was made on how these tourneys were best updated.

I know people are working very hard here so I don"t wish to sound too critical but a few hand details, a few chip counts on request, some big pots reported and the odd anecdote is the formula that made the updates so entertaining. Would love to see that again. Maybe I"m in a minority with this though?
