Updates:

Reg. Event #14 PLO Omaha - this is now listed under the correct name in the lobby.

The Main Event holding tank has been split into 2. Please check you are registered for the correct day! If you not, then unreg. from the day you are regged for, and re-reg for the other day.

Thanks for clarifying points 2 and 3.

With regards point 1 are you saying we have to open a new account to be able to register for the WCOAP through the Coral platform?

Amongst all the questions that have been answered, this important one has been ignored. I"d like the answer to this as well.

Andrew, this certainly hasn"t been ignored. If I had not answered it, it would have been due to missing it rather than deliberately ignoring it! But as it happens, I did answer via PM to you on 14th January @ 4.48pm.

Been following all the threads with interest and certainly haven"t seen it explicitly mentioned that I can take any old Coral account, "upgrade" it, and allow me to reg for WCOAP without needing to download the APAT sponsored by Coral software. If closing an existing Coral account is part of the deal, I"d like to avoid that. Which was the point of GiMac"s original post.

Do you have to open a different account via the link? Just logged in and can see the schedule.

Yes, although APAT games will be visible on Coral, you won"t be able to buy-in to most of them. You will only be able to do that if you are accessing it via an account created from our site: http://www.apat.com/online

So how do those of us that already have a coral account buy in?

You can download again from: http://www.apat.com/online/ and set up a new account. Any problems, please PM me.

Are you saying we have to have a coral account linked to APAT to be able to play future online APAT games?

Some games we will open to the whole Coral network, but other games will be exclusive to APAT (e.g. value added games, the upcoming National Online League, National Online Cup, etc.)

What if we are already signed up to Coral"s through another affiliate and wish to remain loyal to that affiliate as we have a great deal with them? Are we then excluded from future APAT events?

Unfortunately, we"re obviously not able to award added value games to players who haven"t signed up through us.

Thanks for clarifying points 2 and 3.

In other words, is the only way to register for WCOAP to close any existing Coral account and download the APAT version? I note that Matt has said that Coral will close any multiple Coral accounts, so even though some have thus far managed to get themselves a second Coral (i.e.APAT) account (e.g. AMRN) it"s possible that one or all of those will be closed by Coral later if I"m understanding that right.

Yep, I had Coral on to me yesterday telling me they had to close the new account because the old one had a balance on it. I managed to persuade them to go the other route and refund my money and close the old one.

Apologies. It was late and I was tired. I thought you were bumping a post that you had initially made, and that I had PMed the answer to you.

Will clarify the situation by updating the "Problems" thread with the answer, and also post it here.

I think by "upgrade" Dann meant download, then notifty Coral and swap over to the new client - so an "upgrade" in that sense.

edit: reworded above to make more sense

I can see APAT games by logging in with my old Coral account. Can"t I just play them?

Yes, and no. You will be able to register for some games via an old Coral account. e.g. you are able to register for the WCOAP via an old Coral account (though this is actually due to a configuration error, and was not intentional).

You will not be able to register for National Online League, National Online Cup, any games that have value added, etc.

We may make online versions of APAT events available to Coral players too. e.g. WCOAP Online, APAT National Events.

As previously noted, you cannot have an APAT Coral and Coral account at the same time, so to play the APAT exclusive games you will need to close your Coral account. If at the point you close your old Coral account you are registered for games (e.g. WCOAP holding tank) you will be unregistered for them, and money returned to your account.

Memories from six years ago and the first ever WCOAP, held at the Victoria Casino in London.

Were you there and if so how did you do?

Who else do you recognise from the video?

Hi

Apologies if the question has already be discussed.

I have reserved a seat for the main event on Evenbright, is it possible to reserve seats for the side events or do you have to buy in for the full amount

Many thanks
Anthony
