Hi

Apologies if the question has already be discussed.

I have reserved a seat for the main event on Evenbright, is it possible to reserve seats for the side events or do you have to buy in for the full amount

Many thanks
Anthony

Hi Anthony,

Side event seats will go on eventbrite in the next day or two.

Cheers

Des

How will this work with someone that res , compared to someone that can straight buy in , say end off this week or next week ? People will res and block out seats, were someone with straight but can not get in if the all seats become reserved

Got bored with trying to sort Coral out. Just reserved all my seats with "Eventbrite". Only £2 a go for the minor events. All very straightforward.

Clearly I rate my chances, reserving the Razz as well as the 6-max on the Friday, and the Cash as well as the PLO8 on the Saturday. Main Event on the Sunday.

See you all on Good Friday!

Answer....

The APAT Eventbrite facility to "reserve a seat" for APAT events allows players to pay a non-refundable fee (immediately to Eventbrite) to guarantee them a seat in the event.

To redeem a guaranteed seat the player must fulfil the event registration requirements on the day of the event at the venue (where appropriate, these will be displayed on Eventbrite) and pay the FULL tournament buy-in (ie the event entry plus any reg/admin fee - so for example the FULL £75+£7.50).  If a player fails to redeem their guaranteed seat option, they will be able to join the Alternates List as and when they do turn up at the venue.  The Alternates List will be operated by APAT on a first come, first served basis.

It is EMPHASISED - the Eventbrite reservation fee is in ADDITION to the event buyin and reg fee that you have to pay on the day.

All monies raised via Eventbrite are specifically set aside and allocated to the costs of personnel to provide the much desired (by members) service of updating/blogging at APAT events.

Does the reserving reduce the holding tank  number on coral.... Could get someone reserving and then a full holding tank full with straight buyin? The small side events have 20 odd straight buy in at the minute, then say 20 odd reserve and then more straight buyin on coral, making more runners then allocated for the event?

I believe that the idea was that there were two separate "pots" of seats for online buy-in and reserved seats.

The size of the pots will be adjusted once the lads have a grip on the way things are going.

I think it likely that the online buy-in will close fairly early to allow plenty of time to get the money to Aspers.

I read somewhere the holding tank online is open until 31 march , reserve seats can block out a lot if this live now already

Not if there are a limited number of "reservable" seats.

Wasn"t sure there was a limited number of reservable seats, if this is the case then fine, pay day for me in a few days, book up the side events and fingers crossed there is still place for main event next payday, over staking at the minute too.... Got to pay out for WCOAP staking on top of my buy ins place got to refund cousin accommodation costs this month too.....better get on coral to grind out my 100% match bonus with out going busto....6250 more points needed

Omaha High/Low = Omaha 8 - they"re the same thing, the 8 refers to "8 or better" which is the qualifier for the low half of the pot.

Shootout is a bunch of SNGs with the winner of each SNG proceeding to the next round.

Antes Only means just that. No blinds, everyone antes, and then there"s a minimum for subsequent bets. Regular NLHE post flop. Google is your friend.
