Discussions about starting stacks are completely irrelevant and detract from the main focus - which should be the blind level structure, pure and simple. 15k, 20k, 30k - doesn"t matter if the levels aren"t correct.

PLO events may need slightly more chips or more/slower levels due to higher average pot sizes.

And lammers for the heads up (and maybe the PLO events) for a few levels to even out some variance.

Totally agree with you!
If somebody prefer more stack because of faster blinds does not understand anything oft the game...

I"m awaiting confirmation from Aspers but, currently, they only have the facility to take "on site" pre-registration/buyin for the Main Event, High Roller Open and Heads Up - will continue to chase and advise asap.

As Fandango says - visit page 1 of this topic to view the APAT facility which will let you reserve a seat up until 12:00 noon on Mon 14th April (as long as they don"t sell out - it is a first-come-first-served basis).

When will we see a player briefing with the structure for all of the events and player lists. It would be good to know the amount of runners each event has attracted so far.

Trying to get these finalised asap - but yes you will see exactly that.

Out of interest any plans to run apat cash tables in Stratford. Does anybody know what cash games run normally?

Still trying to think of something amusing to write in this bit.

The low stakes cash games are very soft - if I end up playing cash, I would actively avoid a table full of APAT regs in favour of a swim in the well stocked fish ponds!

I"ve just downloaded the Coral software and navigated to APAT tournaments.

I can"t find any of the events to buy in to? Just a few freerolls and same £5-11 online MMTs.

Have all the events been booked up?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Ryan, welcome to the forum :)

Did you download from http://www.apat.com/online or direct from Coral"s website?

The holding tanks are now closed, in order for Coral to have time to transfer the money to Aspers.

The reserve-a-seat option is still open here: http://www.eventbrite.co.uk/o/amateur-poker-association-amp-tour-4053909103

We are waiting on confirmation that Aspers have opened pre-event buy-in direct at the casino.

I downloaded from this site.

The reservation? Does that guarantee me a seat? If so I might just reserve the 4 events I want to play and rock up as normal.

Yes, reserving guarantees you a seat.

It costs £2 per side event, and £5 for the main event. This is in addition to the cost of playing, and there"s no refund if you don"t turn up.

Though, it guarantees your place, and gives you the option to decide right up until the start of each event whether or not to play.

Thank you for this Matt.

I look forward to seeing you all there for what should be a great weekend.

I booked 2 seats per event for all the non hold em MTTs one for me, one for friend. Will the fact there both booked in my name cause problems on the day?

any answer to this

Hi Simon, I see you have 2 seats reserved via Eventbrite for #2 Stud Championship (so presume all other non-NLHE events) so please just advise the name for the 2nd ticket - PM to myself or on the day (please remember as booked via Eventbrite you must turn and register/buyin in full at least 30 minutes before event start time - otherwise the seats go on sale on a first-come-first-served basis).
