A true Gent and a great bloke, glad we had the chance to meet up for a beer and a meal in Nottingham quite recently. Even though I knew he was ill it still comes as a shock.

Rhino, you will be missed but not forgotten mate!!

Would be touching for either minute silence or minute applause before the team champs in Stoke? just a thought

+1 ^^^^ During Prague team Scotland wore black armbands in memory of the helicopter crash a very noble gesture, I"m sure it would be fitting for the APAT teams to follow this as a tribute.

Such sad news.  Although I"d never met Vaino, I was lucky enough to be selected in his APAT Champions team for the forthcoming team event and was looking forward to meeting him.  Heartfelt thoughts and condolences to his family.  RIP Rhino :(

^^^ This.  I think a minute"s silence before the start of the event would be a nice gesture.

Definitely be wearing the black armbands here.

Also, this is APAT. I think a minute"s applause would probably be better than a minute"s silence in a casino, which is never quiet. Not gonna argue though.

RIP Vaino. Thoughts are with his family.

I"m very saddened by this news.

I met Vaino on many occasions as he was a long term APAT community member who had played many events.  Vaino was a true gentleman, may he rest in peace.  Condolences to the Tiik and wider family.

I think a round of applause would be a lovely gesture from the community in Stoke.
