Yeah, but he"s blown his chance now.

Which would he rather

$95k

or

around £3k, an APAT National title, a medal, a trophy, an interview with yourself, + significant media exposure.

Peaked too soon, imo.    ;D

Mate a great tourney report- really enjoyed it.

Take your time- enjoy the money and decide what you wanna do. You should only play higher limits when you feel your ready not cos your bankroll dictates it but treat yourself to something and your family. Maybe a big tourney like a GUKPT too?

Also when you had K5 on a 955 board even I wouldn"t put my opponent on 55 ;)

Great contribution Rob.  My advice would be don"t change anything.  Withdraw the cash and shove it in a pillow case, after treating the family to a couple of weeks in the sun.  When you are absolutely certain that you do not want to move up in limits, stick it in your bank.

so I stuck it out like a n00b and waited for AA. And when it came, I think I nearly did too.

PMSL!!

Congrats again. GUKPT would be a great re-investment opportunity!!

Looking forward to catching up in Edinburgh.

You could always bring all the money up to Edinburgh, a few of us have got some ideas on how you could spend it. Very well done again.

Great Efforts:

Next Challenge : Look to qualify for a TV tournament:

They can then endlessly describe you as the "internet qualifier" - and you can look to kick some ass.

Good luck in whatever you do - drinking pink champagne is a good hobby to get involved in.
