The World cup...

I know it"s not just me and this has been said - I am just re stating a fact - those fecking horns are doing my head in  :P

It"s easily fixed if they pipe the sound through a frequency blocker to remove that range of sound before broadcasting it, like in those karaoke machines where you can block out the vocals and do your worst over the top (I"m sure you"ve done that in your time Ger!)

Agreed! I"m wondering if you still get the horns on the alternative commentary when pressing "Red". I"ll be trying it on the next game as I have watched three games so far with the sound v low.

Ok got the headphones on - watching Brazil in glorious silence (well a wee bit of C&W in the earphones) playing the
Footbal Frenzy Warm Up $3k gte on Betfair for distraction.

Completing filming a short piece for the Iceland 40 years celebrations this year, one take Duke they are calling me LOL.

The content is a secret until the showing on 9th July - but I was awesome a new career beckons

found a neat alcohol calculator today. It seems I can drink two bottles of wine if I start at 6pm and still be ok to drive at 8am tomorrow - Has to be done

Calculator in on Chezger home page - usual disclaimers apply of course  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Yesssss the fix works - watching the SA game and the vuvuzela"s are now background rather than foreground sound.

Thanks Mair

The fix

Enter the sound settings for your TV and find the equaliser.

Drop the 300Hz channel to its lowest level and raise the adjacent levels (usually 100Hz & 1000Hz) to their highest levels.

Save as a custom set-up (if you can) if you can"t it doesn"t affect sound of other programs that much.

Eric Smit, the assistant manager at Samsung Store in Canal Walk, did a spot test and found that it worked on both low-end and high-end TVs.
