"Sign up with British Gas and only pay for what you use...."

Sorry but I would hope that I was paying only for what I use

So Amir Khan enters the ring against possibly the heaviest puncher in the light-welterweight division. Marcos Maidana. He has lost only once and of his 29 wins, all but two were completed inside the distance. Should be a cracker Khan is odds on in most markets, The National Rodeo Finals are also in town, hope he doesn"t fall off his horse.

Well the final online game was frustrating. After surviving an all in the NLHE with a very scary board early on I went to a goodly amount of chips only to get a run of cards that would make you wonder whether there was a card higher than a 7 in the pack. I could not even complain about bad beats as I didn't get any hands to even go as far as getting one.

Changing style didn't work, trying to steal blinds the odd time didn't work and then AQ doesn't beat AK. The structure of that game allows for some periods of shyte but even the longest structure in the world will not compensate for 90 minutes of complete garbage.

The PLO wasn't any better and that structure is totally unforgiving.  ::)

A huge well done to Warren Jones for his efforts and good luck in the CofC for the biggy.

So Amir Khan defended his title with a unanimous points victory over Marcos Maidana.

Khan had him down in the first with a body shot but not before getting a couple of huge hooks that rocked him.

Khan looked to have the fight under control but was smacked again in the 10th and was lucky to survive the round.

The three judges ringside scored the fight 114-111, 114-111, 113-112.

Khan has probably answered his critics about his suspect chin, but he finished the fight bloodied and knowing he was in a fight.
