Well, Celtic Chaos was all it was expected to be. Great company, I could not wish to be in better to be honest. Drank way too much, however I did get to bed early most nights, on account that my meter was registering full so I got enough sleep anyway.

Friday was mostly a pub crawl with some food in there somewhere, I personally believe it was the fecking cocktails that did for me. As with every endeavour over the weekend whatever we did was great craic because of the company.

Saturday's boat ride was different, although how we expected to see anything in a force 10 gale and driving rain is beyond me (the world did not end as forecast by come cuckoo but I can assure you it felt close).I did my usual run good with Dawn's youngest, Sarah, by losing a coin toss for 2 Euros and losing another 2 Euros on the colour of the mini bus that brought us to the boat. Off the boat and away to a restaurant that has no price list you just pay what you think the meal was worth. Not a great choice as you would expect and I went for the Potato Pizza, yep, you figure. We wandered off to the poker room and 18 people sat down. I lost interest in the proceedings when my turned flush was rivered by a boat and my last lot of chips went in with AK on a K high flop losing to a flush. The travellers binked though, with Jack taking it, Paulie second (picking up Dawn's bounty on the way) and Dawn third.

Sunday was a chill day with a few beers and a very nice Thai meal followed by some more chilled beers in the finest company.

Monday was the flight home and to be fair turbo prop planes don't behave very well in the wind.

A big thank you to Dawn, Jack, Paulie, Peter and Wendy for a great weekend. Looking forward to others like it.

Loved having ye here.  Pity about the weather.  Great country if only we could roof it ffs.

Btw - I"ll have the beef today please and thanks.  But have to say, the menu has been pretty rubbish the last couple of days.  Have a word with the chef.  He"s obviously not thinking straight lately.  Cheers.

Not looking good for the weekend (or conversely it might be) all bad on the poker front tonight and last night. Never behind when all in - always behind when the last card falls.

priceless  ;D

You know it"s raining in Cardiff, right? Sounds like you really need to be taking a nice shiny new SkyPoker brolly with you.

It"s currently sunny in Cardiff, I know this cos I am here, eating a Gregg"s roll in my car (whilst unsuccessfully trying to find a new one) *lol*. It"s still not very good though :-)

OK Just as my liver calmed down I am getting ready to pound it again in Cardiff. I am looking forward to meeting a great bunch of people and having a great time.

One small problem, I can"t get out of a supplier meeting on Friday so will be travelling down by train on Saturday early, returning on the Monday. Gutted to miss the Friday night but I will make up for it I can assure you.

Life is funny, when checking data, the figure most obviously correct, beyond all need of checking, is the mistake. Anybody who you asked for help will not spot the mistake. Then the first person who stops by, whose advice you really don"t want to hear, will spot it immediately.

Inevitable.......
