...
You got 4xBB - not really a question of whether it"s right to be jamming with the flush draw, more a question of how fast can you get your chips in without burning your fingers on the cloth.

I played a pub game on Wednesday - it wasn"t as bad as the aquarium, but the standard was still amusingly poor.

This reminded me of it because with 4 left I had A7 on the button and the big blind had 3xBB (plus the BB he"d just posted) I thought I"d save time by just raising him all in - he folded  ::)

Blatant brag post ITT.

Back from the aquarium - pleased with the night made a move didn"t hit - but hey I had outs (that will be on most poker player"s tombstones)

so tear the play to shreds.

6 left, blinds 1500/3000 I am in the BB with  jd  9d and 12k in chips

UTG limps button calls SB folds - I check (mistake ?)

flop

8d  kd  :3c:

First to act I shove the rest of my chips all in

UTG folds, button calls with  kh qs

turn

tc

River

4s

should I have jammed pre - to be honest in this establishment KQ would probably have called me anyway
you did.ent win then

Last night was its usual mayhem, no real cards so played without them in some pots if you know what I mean. Exit hand was standard shoved hard with KJ and was called by A9 with no help. The funniest part of the night was a drunken round of 7's and some other random games that we could think of. As I always say, the aquarium is what it is.

Need to motivate myself and do some household chores...

Lovely day today.

Did all my washing for the week, tidied and cleaned the downstairs, cooked a nice roast chicken for the wee man. I'd make someone a nice wife FFS.

Settling down for the evening having a few beers and cheering on Rory.

Next week will be hectic at work but looking forward to Blackpool, getting there Friday for a few beers. After that we are into 18 weeks of hardware updates, application updates and voice picking implementation, my time will not be my own. You know what? I wouldn't have it any other way.
