had google+ for a week or so now, invited via a friend ,

Whenever you take pics on android phone it uploads automaticly , so there there to decide if you want to share next time you log in- like

do I like it overall , undecided , mainly because so few of my friends have it havnt really been able to use it properly .

do i need it - no probally not , confused enough with twitter without adding to my confusion.

verdict - unless there is a mass exodus from FB cant really see a use for it

G+ like FB needs to achieve a critical mass of people  who are willing to use it, FB was single college site in the early days remember before going public.

TBH, I was in on Google Buzz at a relatively early stage and it never had the same "appeal" as G+ although it had a great concept...but it was too finicky to get an easy grasp on. G+ is the successor and Google have clearly learned some lessons

However, I don"t think Google did themselves any favours by just opening G+ up in stages, I understand the reasons why but if a few hundred thousand had adopted from Day rather than just a few thousand, it might have wider appeal than it currently does. Google Buzz had the same problem...there was just no-one on it.

When it integrates seamlessly with FB, Twitter etc (and I can post in a single place and get it fed to all the sites) I"d be much happier. The current options ask for too much access rights for me to feel comfortable letting them at my various accounts.

With a wide range of friends and acquaintances it"s best (IMO) to access as many means of communicating with them as possible.

Some of them might not be on FB but be avid Googlefans or Tweeters...and I would like them to have access to my feed. So, at the moment, I have to multiple post and until a unifying app comes along that I feel comfortable with I"ll have to do it manually.

Today I was back in Deeside and of course  it was the delights of the staff restaurant. Was torn between the Pork Loin or the Best End of Lamb. Not being able to choose I had both. It was loverly. Got loads done so I suppose it was a good day. But the work is piling up and while I like to be busy, I am at the moment very busy. I suppose I must earn my beer money.

The TDF is hotting up with Andy Schleck closing in on the Yellow Jersey. Mark Cavendish was lucky to escape with a 20 point penalty after he finished outside the time limit. Voeckler showed grit with a late surge to keep the Yellow Jersey but I think his time is past. Spare a thought for the non specialist climbers as this stage today was 200k with three big climbs for  a vertical distance of 4,500m and were in the saddle for as long as it takes to fly from New York to London. Top athletes these boys.

So they are considering re-measuring Everest, I might have to reconsider my expedition plans accordingly.....

I like watching cooking shows and never cease to be amazed at the love and enjoyment that people on the continent get out of food. It's a journey they take to come together with friends and family and make the meal a celebration.

Ok it"s a Friday and Friday means a trip to the aquarium (You know what I might take a picture or two tonight). So imbibing, banter, bad beats & outrageous outdraws are ahead of me  ;D

Off to my Sisters tomorrow, she needs a bit of help setting up some stuff on her lappy. Cue the conversation.

"What time can you come round then" says she
"Oh around 12.30" says I
"OK would you like me to cook a bit of dinner then" says she
"Oh go on then" says I

I run good..........

6th last night 4 paid (18 runners Sir Sarkyvil). The blind structure is brutal so that it will finiah before closing, so with blinds 2k/4k I shoved my meagre 22k with KQ and was against Carl"s A 10 - GG me.

Anyway a couple of poor pictures.
